The Namikawa area of Ino-cho remains an excellent environment of vast riverbanks and lakeside forests where visitors can easily enjoy the clear waters of the nationally renowned “Niyodo Blue”.
Throughout the four seasons, many people use the river for playing and camping, and many major events in Ino-cho are held at Namikawa Park.
In addition, the location’s proximity to the center of Ino Town and the convenience of transportation from a wide area makes it easy to connect with tourist facilities in Ino Town and the Niyodo River and for sightseeing tours, making it the gateway to the Niyodo River.
In recent years, the “Mizuibe-no-eki Niyodogawa Nikoniko Kan” has been redeveloped with functions such as eating, drinking, and resting, further enhancing the tourist function.
